What is this?
The Schulte Table was developed by german psychiatrist and psychotherapist Walter Schulte originally as a psycho-diagnostic test to study the properties of attention and brain reaction. It is a grid (generally size 5x5) with randomly distributed numbers or letters. There are possible variations with different dimensions, coloured cells and values. Over time, such tables have become popular as a technique for speed reading training.
Switching attention and concentration test
Especially note there is a mode as the Gorbov-Schulte tables. This test is designed to assess the speed of switching attention and can be used to determine professional suitability for professions that require increased concentration and quick response (for example, air traffic controllers, railway train drivers, etc.).
